Warrior Throwing – Festival & Fair Requirements

Show Format & Performance Schedule

Our coaches run eight hours of nonstop action each day, with an entertaining hype coach driving the energy while professional throwing coaches keep the competition flowing smoothly.

Expect matchups like husband vs. wife, friends vs. friends, and grandparents vs. grandkids — the kind of moments that get people laughing, cheering, and coming back for more. Whether they’re throwing or just watching, everyone leaves smiling.

Space Requirements

Our throwing lanes themselves don’t take up much room — but for the full experience, we recommend more space to include our queue area, crowd space, 10×10 canopy tent, and gear storage.

Here’s our recommended space for each setup:

2 Lanes: 35′ x 35′

4 Lanes: 48′ x 35′

6 Lanes: 61′ x 35′

That said, we’re flexible — we can rearrange the layout of our exhibit to work with most festival or fairgrounds. If space is tight, we’re happy to adapt the setup to fit your available area.

Ground Surface Requirements

Lanes can be set up on grass, asphalt, concrete, or packed gravel, but must be placed on a firm, flat, and level surface.

If we’re setting up on asphalt or concrete, we provide rubber mats to protect the surface.
We prefer not to set up on wooden decks or other surfaces that could be damaged by dropped axes.

 

Power Requirements

Power is only required for nighttime events.
If axe throwing will take place after dark, we’ll need access to a standard 110V power source for lighting.
If power is unavailable, we can bring portable lighting — just let us know in advance.

 

Water Requirements

We require access to a water spigot to fill 5-gallon containers.
This water is used to hydrate our wooden targets, which helps ensure performance and safety.

 

Access & Setup Time

Setup and teardown take up to 4 hours each and are typically completed the day before and after the event, with same-day options available depending on scheduling

Trailer access to the setup area is required for loading and unloading.

 

Staffing & Lodging Requirements

Lodging costs are included in our pricing.

If nearby lodging is not available, we will need:

– A parking space with power access for a camper up to 26′ long

– Advance notice to coordinate lodging plans

Additional costs may apply, but we’re happy to work with event organizers to find the most economical solution.

 

Additional Requirements

We carry full liability insurance and will add your event as additionally insured upon request.

All participants must sign a waiver (print, sign, and date).
Ages 12 and up can participate.
Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian signature.

Closed-toe shoes are required for all participants.
Event organizers must provide any necessary vehicle and staff access passes.

Show Format & Performance Schedule

Our coaches run a continuous eight-hour show each day.  During the show, one coach leads the action with big energy, quick wit, and crown engagement, while the second coach keeps throwers cycling through safely and smoothly.

Our Outdoor Bay is a bold, rugged setup that features two full-size throwing lanes and a design that draws a crowd before the first axe even flies. It includes two professional axe-throwing coaches — and like everything we do, this isn’t just axe throwing… it’s a show.

Expect matchups like husband vs. wife, friends vs. friends, and grandparents vs. grandkids — high-energy competitions that keep people laughing, cheering, and talking about your event long after the day is done.

Outdoor Bay setup includes 2 lanes only.
Our Outdoor Bay itself doesn’t take up much room – but for the full experience, we recommend including space for our queue area, crowd space, 10×10 canopy tent, and gear storage.
